2008 Race For the Cure

Team Audrey raised $767 for the cure for breast cancer this Saturday. We had a great day of sunshine for the walk. Thanks to all who donated to this cause! This is 5 of the 6 Hill grandchildren. It is hard to get them all to sit and smile at the same time. Also included are pictures of our kids and grandkids and my friend Bonnie and her daughter and grandaughter. Thousands of people came out to walk or run in Grandville.

Football and apple picking

Tulsa is playing football on WO team. Go Panthers! He is the one on the right of the team, number 64. Logan is happy to watch as long as he has his juice.

Tammy, Logan and I went to pick apples at Cranes orchard and Logan was a huge helper.

Wisdom Tooth and DC

I had a wisdom tooth removed Friday. It was a barrel of fun! Actually my mouth feels much better than the last 3 weeks of suffering with pain from that huge tooth. It had to be cut out and only took about 10 minutes for Dr VanWieren to remove it. I was in DC for a week for an event with work and we went to see the Pentagon memorial on the day we flew back home. Here is the group of employees that went to DC. In the background of the Pentagon you can see the new brick that replaced where the plane hit. It was very eerie to see planes flying overhead and so real to see the families paying tribute to their loved ones. This memorial just opened 9/11/08 and many of the families were visiting it for the first time.

Car show

Misti, Josiah, Isaac and I went to a car show Cruise-In Fundraiser for 2 Brothers with Muscular Dystrophy on Friday night. Josiah just loves old cars and he was like a little kid in a candy store only worse. He had to stop and get his picture taken by every "cool" car. I took 43 pictures of him and then my camera battery died so we had no choice but to just look at the cars instead. He would stop by each car and pose for me. (Normally he hates to have his picture taken but this was different). Here are just a few of the pictures from our fun night. One of the owners even let the boys get in their car. Josiah was in his glory.
